Nova Ren Suma is a New York Times bestselling author of young adult novels and a two-time Edgar Award finalist. Her latest novel A Room Away from the Wolves was an Edgar Award finalist and called “shiver-inducingly delicious” by the New York Times. Her other novels include the #1 New York Times bestselling The Walls Around Us as well as Imaginary Girls, 17 & Gone, and Dani Noir, and she has had short stories in the anthologies Slasher Girls & Monster Boys, Toil & Trouble, and It’s a Whole Spiel. She has an MFA in fiction from Columbia University and is co-editor of the craft & story anthology Foreshadow: Stories to Celebrate the Magic of Reading and Writing YA. Nova’s next novel is also forthcoming from Algonquin. She teaches creative writing at the University of Pennsylvania and in the low-residency Writing for Children & Young Adults MFA program at Vermont College of Fine Arts. She lives in Philadelphia.
