Lesley Jones is a NYT's best selling, and internationally acclaimed author known for her emotionally charged novels featuring gritty, down-to-earth characters navigating angsty, raw and emotional plot lines. Born and raised in Essex, England, Lesley and her family relocated to Australia in 2006. Her writing career launched in 2013 with her debut novel, Saviour - Since rewritten and republished as Saving Ren - And quickly gained a loyal following for her unique ability to pivot from hot and steamy romance to emotionally charged, ugly cry scenes, often followed by laugh-out-loud moments, all within the span of a few sentences. Her third novel The Story of Us, book 1 in her New York Times best selling Carnage Series, became her breakout success, hitting multiple bestseller lists and winning several awards, including the distinctive title of Best Ugly Cry. For Lesley, the most rewarding part of her job is connecting with her readers, whether that be sharing personal stories about her hectic family life in her reader group, or in person at signing events around the world. When not writing, Lesley is a self-confessed lover of reality TV, long walks, travelling and dining out.
