For Ken Blue, the Good News is the message of grace, the charismatic dimension of ministry, principles of servant leadership, and healing of spiritual abuse. The poor are the socioeconomically poor in poor nations and the spiritually poor in all nations. Ken studied at Regent College and Fuller Seminary. He and his wife, Patti, planted and led churches in Canada and the US. They also built a strong family base that began with eight children and has grown to include in-laws, grandchildren, and even more children through spiritual adoption. Ken traveled and taught as director of Good News to the Poor, bringing the message to many developing countries. Ken has authored numerous books, including, Authority to Heal, Healing Spiritual Abuse, The Gospel Uncensored: How Only Grace Leads to Freedom, and Church Discipline That Heals: Putting Costly Love into Action and his newest book, Welcome Home: Good News to Prodigals and Elder Brothers. Ken Blue was the director of Good News to the Poor, an organization that takes the gospel and business training to the developing world.
