Jim Bradford is a graduate of the University of Alabama, where he obtained a BS in Corporate Finance (1978) and an MBA (1980). Jim also holds a JD (1989) from Jones School of Law. While at Alabama, Jim experienced two life-changing events: first, he met and later married the love of his life, Mitzi, and, secondly, he had the opportunity to be coached by the greatest football coach of all time, Paul W. Bryant. Both experiences profoundly affected the way he lived his life after leaving the University. Recently retired after 40 years of service with the State of Alabama, Jim enjoys writing about college football and reminiscing with his former teammates about their memorable experiences at the University of Alabama. Jim, Mitzi and their two daughters, Katy and Sarah, are fixtures in Tuscaloosa each year during football season. When not attending Alabama football games or services at the Church of the Highlands in Montgomery, Jim and Mitzi enjoy traveling and gardening at their home in Wetumpka, Alabama.
