I am a follower of Jesus. But the longer I am in this walk with Him, the more I am convinced that He's been the one pursuing me the whole time. My amazing family and I have spent our lives as missionaries in Africa since 2011, a work built on the foundation of our individual histories in the church and involvement with missions work since childhood, now growing together. We have seen the good and the bad in ministry life, but in spite of the roller coaster that is humanity, Jesus has always been an unmoving rock of comfort, joy, and life. More than any ministry training or experience, my testimony is of the relentless love of my Father despite the many ways I have failed in this life. Be it addiction and sin, hypocrisy and disappointment, or simply failing as a steward of the blessings He has poured out, the grace of Jesus Christ continues to bring me to places higher than I could ever reach alone. The process the Lord is taking me through has birthed a desire to see others know this incredible love. His intention has made me a disciple, and it is my heart to bring others with me on the road of discipleship through the cross of Christ. Whether though writing, speaking, or just doing life together with others, I desire that the intimacy He has invited me into would be apparent and compelling to everyone I encounter.
