C. T. Wente was born on September 11, 1972, in Lexington, Kentucky. After receiving a degree in Architecture from Ball State University, he pursued a career in advertising and founded two interactive marketing agencies by the age of thirty. His first novel, 'Ice Man Cometh,' was originally published independently under the title 'Don't Order Dog' before being purchased by Thomas & Mercer. An ardent painter, photographer and writer, Wente now lives in southern Sweden with his wife, Linda. He continues to balance his time between writing and sports marketing consulting.
