Hi! I’m Ben Farthing. I write supernatural horror. In each of my books, I’m trying to recreate the sense of wonder and dread that I got the first time I saw Clive Barker's Hellraiser, or the first time I read Stephen King's "The Mist." I live near Richmond, Virginia with my wife, children, and too many pets. I have an MFA in Creative Writing from BYU, and I’m a graduate of the Viable Paradise writer's workshop. I wish more people would watch the movie YellowBrickRoad so I could have more conversations about how great it almost was.
