Fun for the whole family!

The story has Killer Klowns from Outer Space vibes intertwined with Pennywise vocal similarities provided by the narrator. Enjoyable, quick read.

Found a little gem!

I've never heard of this author or this book. I actually came across it looking for a different horror book but the title got my attention; I'm glad I gave it a shot. The author does a great job of packing the feeling of helplessness, anxiety, even claustrophobia very quickly in such a short listen. As a parent you're definitely going to feel anxious listening. It's not gory or violent but it is fast paced and definitely gives you a feeling of discomfort wondering whats happening, why it's happening, and how theyre going to come out of this. I will be looking into finding more from this Author.

Perfect Title and a Perfectly Crafted Fast-Paced Horror Tale

The title alone had me intrigued from the first time I heard it. This story is fast paced and absolutely terrifying. As a parent I could empathize with this protagonist and the split second decisions he is forced to make. Don’t get me wrong you don’t have to be a parent to appreciate this quick, enthralling, and well executed bite sized horror story- I enthusiastically encourage everyone to give it a go. I know I am one of the “strange readers” the author talks about at the end of the book and will be reading more of his work.

Should be a movie!

I was hesitant using a credit for a book that was so short but I’m so glad I did. The book grabs you right from the beginning and doesn’t slow at any point! Great writing that allows you to visualize the story as the narrator reads. I can’t wait to hear the next one! I hope this gets picked up as a movie or mini-series.

I had to finish it in one go, or I wouldn't be able to sleep.

a short story about a father and son on an adventure gone wrong. they build trust and as a parent I can only hope to be as dedicated. I will be buying a longer knife personally.

still though I'm about to read the next book the author suggested

A great listen!

A great read from a great narrator! This story was anxiety-inducing with a thick fog of dreadfulness and I had to listen to it straight through without stops
