Barr McClellan Foundations: I am an attorney (retired), author (best-seller) and counsellor (business, politics), born 1939 in Cuero, TX (AKA Rawhide). My early years were in the oilfields of TX, LA and WY where my father served the war effort looking for oil. In 1944, the family traveled to Maracaibo, Venezuela where I was enrolled in an “advanced” elementary school, spent summers in the swamps with snakes, alligators and the always dangerous “matalones,” and learned Spanish. I grew up with four younger sisters. I survived an airline crash in Mexico City in 1946 – and had an out-of-body experience. On returning to San Antonio in 1950, I finished Jefferson HS in 1957, was class president and was honored to deliver the graduation address At the University of Texas in Austin, I won the essay contests for short stories and for politics, was a member of the Friars Society and participated in the first Chilean Exchange program. Some Chilenos accused me of being CIA, but I have yet to be paid. I graduated with honors in 1961 (with special honors in international studies) and completed law school in 1964, receiving the third highest score on the bar exams. With a growing family, I took a position with the FPC in Washington. Official tasks included natural gas regulation (I was quoted with approval by the Supreme Court on the problems setting prices for products). Advising the FPC included licensing pipelines and closing some dams. Nuclear projects were considered. The Northeast Blackout occurred and was duly reviewed. In short, I completed a thorough education into energy and government regulation. I also learned lobbying, the key officials to contact, and getting around the Capitol and the District of Columbia. [P.S. D.C. is tourable in two hours. NYC takes two weeks.] The Power Years - The Innermost Sanctums: In 1965, I accepted a lawyer-associate position with Clark, Thomas, at the time the most powerful law firm in Texas. (Clark was the only man LBJ trusted). Based on my Washington experiences, my practice included promoting LBJ elections and policies, lobbying for energy and utility clients, and working with Congress whenever needed. I also anchored “the Law and You” TV program on LBJ’s KTBC. I became a partner in 1972, representing numerous clients in the oil, natural gas and electrical energy businesses. Lobbying included energy issues in Washington. I also blocked an expressway through parklands in San Antonio, winning in the Supreme Court on votes of 9-0, 4-5 and 3-6. (The parks had been on my paper route). Among other cases, I increased the value of one natural gas company over 133-times in three months. West Coast consumers paid for the increases. I also saved San Antonio’s natural gas reserves for Dallas. In 1977, Clark insisted I help Leon Jaworski and his client Oscar Wyatt, the man who stole San Antonio’s natural gas reserves for Dallas. Clark assured me Jaworski was an old friend we would always help. Because I represented most of the companies opposing Oscar Wyatt, I refused to take the case. Clark and I parted company, but not before helping Clark get his bonus for the assassination from Exxon. The law’s inner sanctum is the tightest. We know what happened by results. Clark was paid. Details are also in the cover-ups. Litigating Lawyer - Knowing Where to Look: I opened my law firm and had the business. A client had been burned in a Pinto rear-end explosion. I handled the application for statewide cell-phone licensing. I filed on the VA for allowing cigarettes that caused cancer. I handled the estate for Willie Nelson’s father. Then Clark turned on me. One of his banks sued. We were in fist city for over a decade. I decided to complete the book Clark and LBJ feared: the history of LBJ’s motives, the facts behind who gained the most, the facts Warren ignored. To disclose what had happened, to show why too many in Texas feared for their lives and careers, the facts had to be uncovered. I no longer had direct access to that information. But I knew where to look. The penthouse files were a vital source. They remain missing. In Blood, Money & Power, I told the history of what LBJ and Clark had done to turn Texas into a banana republic, and then change the USA. The interesting coincidence was Sam Maverick. LBJ opposed Maverick , one of whose family married into Jackie’s family. The two families were direct opposites, side-by-side. After 1930. there was no law, only fiat in the hands of Clark and LBJ. After 1963, the impact on national law proved devastating. In the hands of Clark and his judges, America’s Constitution and laws became the banana republic Clark empowered. Kangaroo courts were easily imposed on this system. Thanks to vital insights from one of the Kennedy insiders, this unity between LBJ and the criminal elements in America (CIA rogue agents and Mafia outriders) simply happened. The assassination and cover-up followed. For me, the dispute with Clark was thrown out, completely, as if it never happened, one of the strange things the law is able to do. I turned to completing the book. I uncovered the print match, learned of the eye-witness and had the overwhelming evidence from others: LBJ killed JFK. Consultant - Made in NYC, Made in the USA: During the last recession, I wrote about what was needed to revive the economy. My conclusions were what the experts proposed: reduce the debt and the taxes. I added a perspective. Many lived the American Dream but did not become millionaires. Most still lived productive lives, and left their children the good life. Great Americans. My intended focus on the exportation of America’s future was barely covered. I told about the economy, that side called the aggregate, the people side. The story of individual success became the story of America’s success. The values of all of us rounded out the real history. Our integrity also explains why 70% of us rejected Warren. A super-majority not persuaded by the 10% (20% stayed neutral). I included a few notes in the book on how to select presidents. The perspectives were not highlighted because politics had taken over. My approach was low-keyed but fit the “big picture.” Individuals make the economy work. One further note: keep the focus on the global economy because our leaders have been living global trade control. Not good economics. Start at the bottom and build up. Get results. Compare the BREIT results. No democracy. No responsibility to the people. No European Union fiats. Democracy works. Our Constitution works. Abide the written words. Period. Business consultants: Rumor has it that NYC takes five years to assimilate and become a New Yorker. Cecile and I were there ten years and thoroughly assimilated the energy, initiatives and inspiration of that great city. We became business and political consultants Our consulting included working with communications, merging companies, innovating remote callers, total operation of companies, and more. We also reviewed opportunities there, to make startups get going. Energy ventures, seven movie treatments, five documentaries, politics (integrity promotion), and more. Total career entrepreneurial value (horseback opinion) the value added: $59M. These possibilities are unique to NYC. And NYC welcomes those initiatives. Even authored some productions, have a book nearing completion with a co-author. Plus, for the assassination investigation, new evidence includes religious commitment, demand for nuke authority, psychological analysis, penthouse records, formal complaints on new evidence, John Jr.’ s call for penitence, his commitment to run for president, and much more to be tested in a jury trial, JFK:LBJ. We will take the action Warren should have taken, grant LBJ’s allies one last chance, and wrap with Verdict. JFK:LBJ - The Conspiracy History: The response to Blood, Money & Power was the history disclosed to me during my 12 years in NYC. Many deep insiders called, wrote or visited, adding immensely to the resolution of that most treacherous crime. I was able to complete what happened, from inception, to execution, to cover-up and to the continuing cover-up. My sequel, JFK:LBJ outlines where we are now. There is no doubt there was a conspiracy (even LBJ said there was a conspiracy), and good law enforcement says the conspirators must prove their innocence. The cover-ups say we have to prove LBJ did the crime by irrefutable evidence. That is not the law. And is a grave disservice to JFK. I propose giving the LBJ defenders one last chance, to do what the law requires: to present the evidence excusing him from the crime. They cannot. In short, the case is made. There was a conspiracy, LBJ was behind it, and we need to wrap-up by gathering evidence known to be missing, by presenting the jury trial and by issuing the verdict. Case closed. After all, we have more than a president involved; in fact, there are two presidents. Both deserve equal protection of the law. The deadline should be JFK’s 100th birthday, May 29, 2017. The highest drama, the Oresteia should be the guide. NEW FRONTIERS John Kennedy is admired for promoting service to America. He was forward-looking and placed in action many new initiatives. He would analyze the problems we faced and, as a futurist, confer with excellent minds and develop plans to solve the solutions. He was negotiable and reasonable. He was good at what he did. LBJ was not such a man with foresight nor was he a leader, a person who was able to inspire solutions and make them work. To me, after looking into the problems from the failure of Warren to do justice, solutions rest with integrity enforced on the people charged with running our government, with administering our Constitution by plain meaning, not bias. We have done an ever-worsening job. We have malaise and banality of corruption. The existing law needs better enforcement. The specific areas of service, disclosure, integrity and fairness will do the job. Specific proposals for a JFK Code of Ethics, 2017 will do the job. The integrity of America is expected of government, the same standards we have for ourselves. Journalist standards for ethics also need recognition. BEAUTIFUL TIMES The course to uncovering and analyzing the assassination evidence is completed, the principes of law near completion. The emotional course possible with movies is also underway. Several treatments are drafted. Your review is requested. The action plans also need feedback. My personal dedication is, to borrow from Camelot: right the wrong. Perhaps such dedication is in the family. One grandfather was a minister in a small town in Central Texas; another a journalist and publisher in Los Angeles. The politics? Union General George McClellan was a presidential candidate against Lincoln, then George was NJ governor. His son was NYC mayor. My personal dedication is also to a gospel of life. I am the most fortunate guy. What has happened since I told Clark and LBJ “that’s it”? Having the legal, business and political background to break the case. Warren tried to present a legal case. I approach from the Kennedy side. Now LBJ’s friends have to put up – or shut up. And no more taking from JFK to help LBJ. Re-establish trust in government.
