Publisher's summary

Ian Fleming was a true visionary, a dualistic individual who spent much time in his early life in a "special" school in Austria. It was there that he learned the sacred ways of the early Gnostics and Occultists and developed the very root of the enigmatic secret and eternal charisma of James Bond.

Fleming explicitly said that Bond was Manichean, a distinctly Gnostic concept. The Bond books and films are strategically seeded with alchemical and Gnostic references for those with "the eyes to see". Fleming associated with mystics and initiated individuals around the globe.

In the Bond Code, we shall see how deep this web of the occult truly went. Fleming lived in a fantasy world that led him into a land of sinister and esoteric thought. He created his own alter-ego as a great alchemical work to fulfill his own tumultuous and chaotic mind, and he left behind a set of clues and codes for us to decipher.

Philip Gardiner finally unravels the secret of James Bond, piece by piece, radically reappraising everything we thought we knew about this secret agent and his creator.

The constant underscore!

Ugh! Just read the story! All the cyber punk, heavy metal noise is just annoying.

Don't judge an audio book by its coverage

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Some gems are hidden under a avalanche of slander such as this one has been. I have three theories about the scurrilous reviewers of this book. 1. They never made it past the overly long and cheesy musical intro. 2. They are die hard fans of the movies/books who won't brook anything other than pure adulation of the author. 3. They are spooks who don't want you to know the degree to which Satanism runs their biz.

Look up "cognative infiltration." A hard lesson was learned with the attempt to ban Peter Wright's Spy Catcher -- it is the best possible advertising. Now the weapons are negative reviews and buying up copies to keep the price beyond ordinary means as was done for years with Spies, Lies and Whistleblowers or simply kill the messenger: Michael Hastings, Andrew Breitbart, Tom Clancey (Dr. Jim Garrow interviews), Garry Webb, Phillip Marshall etc.

This author as obviously done a LOT of research and provides fascinating insights. You really have to read the Bond books as the movies are just fluff.

The worst audio book that I ever purchased.

This audio book was so awful. They put this awful music in the background. The research done on the book is shaky. The assumptions and conclusions drawn are speculative at best. I feel so robbed and cheated with this audiobook. I was hoping for some real background and history on Ian Fleming and the Bond Character. I have listened to over 50 audio books over the last two years. This is the worst. The publishing company and the author owe me some money!!!
