Love this story and the narrator, she did an amazing job of voicing both characters. A must listen to book.

The rollercoaster of emotions in this book will have you feel everything. Heartbreaking with some twists you don’t see coming and piecing together Callie’s heart and life leaves you at peace when this is over. The narration was fantastic! So energetic that she pulled even more emotions out of you.

I asked to receive this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review. With the author's words and the narrator's voice, you will find that your emotions will be all over the place. In one part, have the tissue ready. I don't cry easily when listening to books, I did the ugly cry throughout the scene as I listened to the narrator pour her heart out. I felt like it was me experiencing the unbearable grief. The story is full of twists and turns. Callie's love life seems to be full of heartache. I felt like how much more can this woman endure! When she finally finds Kai you will cheer her on but worry about if it can work out. Even though there is a lot of heartache, there are also many heartwarming moments.

The narrator definitely makes this story come alive. She makes you feel the emotions of these characters by pouring her heart and soul into her narration. She gives the characters distinctive voices.

I highly recommend this Audible book. Kudos to SM Stryker and Sarah Lynn for making this one of the best stories that I have listened to. I became immersed in this book. Don't worry it has a HEA ending. Please read the author's trigger warnings in the blurb.

First let me start by saying this is the first story I’ve listened to by this author. Next, I’ve read/listened and reviewed a lot of books but I’m not sure I can do justice to this one. There is so much to this story. Unbelievably emotional. Twists almost constantly.

Callie and Drayton appear to be the perfect couple. Then circumstance causes them apart. Callie doesn’t see her life without Drayton but knows she must move on. She runs across Maison who appears to be not only extremely hot but also caring and seems to be her best friend. Well that also has a almost unbelievable major issues that cause trouble with them. While she is trying to resolve her relationship with Maison she meets Kai. There is an instant attraction between Callie and Kai. Again there are some major twists that seamlessly fit right into the story and kept my emotions at a high level.

Then the author makes what should be an nicely answered ending but at the last minute throws in a little tease to get me to read/listen to the next book which I can’t wait to get to. The only part I can criticize is I didn’t feel the narrator was right for this story. She is good but her voice is in my opinion more for a YA type story. At times I had a hard time visualizing Callie as the older, out of high school woman.
