When Abigail Carr returns to Bridgewater after long years away at Finishing School, Gabe and Tucker Landry will not be dissuaded from the only woman who’s held their attentions - and affections - for years. They’re done waiting. When Abigail claims she must return to Butte, and to her fiancé, Gabe and Tucker refuse to give up so easily. Since she doesn’t have a wedding band on her finger, nor love in her heart, they consider Abigail free for the taking. And seduce her they do...right home to Bridgewater, where they not only marry her, but claim her body in the most sensual experience of Abigail’s life.

But Abigail knows that a future as a wife and mother is not possible, not for her. She only came home to save a friend’s life, and she dare not stay. If she doesn’t return to Butte in the next three days, her best friend will die. And no matter how much Abigail wishes she could stay and be the wife Gabe and Tucker deserve, she must save her friend. The cruel criminal who threatens her friend will not hesitate to kill anyone important to Abigail, including her new husbands.

Abigail will make a hard choice and save them all...no matter the cost to herself or her heart.

Abigail has loved Gabe and Tucker since she was a young girl. Now she is old enough to be taken seriously but there is no chance they would want the woman with a scar. Unbeknownst to her, the men have been waiting for her to ripen to womanhood. The first chance they get, she is swept off to their ranch to be wed and claimed as their own. But she has to leave town to save a friend from certain death. How will she ever slip away from her two amorous mates? Another steamy, suspenseful addition to the Bridgewater series. The women are as brazen as the men in this one, openly discussing the state of their respective marriages. Great narrators.

The story line was solid, but why oh why is the prologue at the END of the recording??? traders start at the last chapter and start over, you'll understand a lot more that way.

The narrator is not a well versed voice actor and some sex scenes feel l like she's reading a new article. there's also little differentiation in voice at times which makes the conversation harder to follow.

Worth a listen

I really loved the whole story and the plot was amazing. The characters had personality but every character from the whole series does

Soo good

The editors messed up again. For the second book in a row, they put the prologue after the last chapter instead of before the first chapter. Are the editors really that asleep while doing their jobs?

They put the Prologue last again!

the prologue is chapter 15 and should be chapter 1. This is the second time this occurs. the first time is in stolen bride.
but otherwise a fairly decent story.

problem with chapter order.
