Publisher's summary

I drew the omega close to me. We had just met, but we were meant to be together, and we had no time for preliminaries.

Fate played a cruel joke on Tomer and Leonid when it made them mates. Although their mutual desire was powerful, the warring clans they belonged to would never allow them to be together. After just one night in each other's arms, they were torn apart.

And fate wasn't done with the star-crossed lovers yet. During their stolen night together, Leonid became pregnant. He waited for Tomer to return, his resentment toward his mate growing as fast as his belly. Years passed, and Leonid resigned himself to a life of loneliness with only his young son for comfort.

Then...against all odds, after Leonid had stopped daring to hope...Tomer came back.

(The Omega's Secret Baby is a steamy, erotic romance story that includes mature themes of gay sexuality and male impregnation.)

Sad

It’s just, rushed, and sad. The characters have little to no personality, and could have been a lot better had it been developed properly

It's been 4 long years for both.

This is a super short novella that gets a lot of information packed within it. This book is about to shifters Tomer and Leonid who are fated to be together but because of their circumstances, both being from opposing packs, that can't happen. This story is a little over an hour and a half and it chronicles 4 years. Like the title says Leonid had Tomer's child without Tomer knowing about it.

For the majority of the story of follows Leonid and their son until about 20 minutes left where it goes back to Tomer. We come to find out that Elmer has been trying to escape his clan the entire time he has been away. It's a good thing that he was actually being active trying to escape because if he was just having a good time at his old clan I would kind of be annoyed with that.

This book will never win a literary high honor award as in the Man Booker Prize or the Pulitzer Prize however I have to say that I quite enjoyed this. I enjoy shifter novels and this is a spin on that. Also the male shifter's anatomy in this book is very interesting. Would have never thought any of that would happen.

I have never listened to a story narrated by Giles Barron and I have to say that I enjoyed it. I enjoyed the fight that he gave each character a distinct voice versus everybody sounding the same. There are a lot of narrators out there that changes the pitch of their voice just a smidge and want the listeners to accept the fact that this is a different character when you sound the same just a bit nasally. I do hope that he narrates other books because he is going in my, have to listen to narrators column.

Soooo Good

Listening to this performance was amazing. The story was good but the narrators voice was even better. I wish he did more books.
