I enjoyed the first book but this one was masterful! I couldn’t stop listening! The slow burn of a new love and remaking of old characters was done so perfectly it was an absolute joy to experience and one I didn’t want to end- I’m waiting on the edge of my seat for the next book!

The story was good. I got a little confused at certain parts but it made sense to me later on once they made it more clear on what happened

The twists have actually surprised me with their depth. The emotional bonds have wrenched me in beautiful ways. Wow!

I can’t express enough how much I’m catapulting this story into “favorite” status. Duine’s slow beautiful avalanche into his humbled recreation of self, weathered down by Seb’s constant, strengthening decency was stunning.

The performance of the narrator was captivating. Seb isn’t the only one who wants to hear that gravelly, lilting voice always. Sign me up for a Duine in my life!

Great Book, I liked how the author transformed the characters! In all honesty I didn't know what to expect reading this, and I was a little sad when I thought the story was over for the main duo of the previous book. I am very glad this carries the story through and helps complete the narrative.
