A dark but interesting story line. you have to see it through to admire the strength of character in the heroine. A hero she is too. she overcomes darkness to reemerge into the light.

I found this book to be very hard to handle. would not recommend it to anyone. the sick mind that had to even write it. has to be a deep dark desire if author.

I was worried that this book would turn into a “Beauty and The Beast” like tale where the victim falls for her abuser… thankfully not the case. It’s a story of surviving mental and physical abuse at the hands of someone who believes they love you. I did not like the narration, but I wonder if the delivery was on purpose so you’d never feel empathy for the villain.
