When it comes to acting the gentleman with Miss Abbott, this marquess is damned if he does...and damned if he doesn't.

In this scorching-hot regency romance, the Marquess of Alastair has doubled the dowry he is providing Miss Abbott because the sooner she is married, the sooner she is out of his care - and his fantasies.

To Mildred Abbott's dismay, her dowry is now attracting numerous unwanted suitors, and she has no interest in marrying. What she wants is an encore of her night at the Ch'teau Debauchery, where Alastair once fulfilled her most decadent desires.

When just such an opportunity unexpectedly arises, Alastair concedes to her proposition on one condition: that she never again return to Ch'teau Debauchery.

But when their families get together for Christmas and Mildred is confronted with her true feelings for Alastair, will the Ch'teau Debauchery prove too great a temptation?

If you're looking to heat up your Christmas, start listening to Tempting a Marquess for Christmas today!

Advisory: Listening to the previous book, Submitting to the Marquess, is recommended but not required to enjoy this scorching-hot holiday story.

Delightful story line drew me in from the very start and the characters were so realistic that as I listened to each page, I was more engaged to know the truth between Andre and Mildred.

This is a continuation of Millie and Alistar’s dance of erotic pleasure and their desire to remain impartial to the debauchary that makes their hearts sing for one another. Despite their assertions that they could remain apart, they seem to think about one another too much for their last encounter to be only casual. When they meet again at a family function, Millie’s curiosity has Alistar agreeing to teach her more ways of a different kind of love, in truth, Alistar doesn’t think any man is good enough for Millie though he won’t make her his own. There are parts that I wish were expounded upon with validity to other men’s interest in Millie, but the dance between the main two kept me occupied well enough. :). The flow of the story was good as well as the reading with a good ending. :).

I found this audio to be another good one for me. There are secondary characters to the conspiracy of the story that helps it move forward. Millie and Andre spend some time together during Michaelmas at his aunt's house and renew their connection from the Chateau Follet but not everyone is happy about the intimate relationship they have and try to caution her. Alastair couldn’t avoid her though.

They are just seeking pleasure. It is how Alastair and Millie met. Can it ever be more than a casual relationship? Can love that begins in one of the oddest places last a lifetime? Follow Alastair and Millie’s story to find out.

Em Brown’s narration was entertaining. The contrast between Millie’s laid back, seemingly complacent father and her panic-happiness filled mother is hilarious.
