Publisher's summary

Danny "The Reaper" Siobhan has had an amazing career as an MMA fighter. But retirement has finally allowed him to spend time with his family. He's loving life. Getting to be with his daughters and the woman of his dreams has been perfect. Too bad he forgot to be cautious.

"Everything that looks too perfect is too perfect to be perfect." (Dejan Stojanovic)

Stacey wasn't looking for Danny. After her last miserable, toxic, cheating ex, she's been pretty content to stay single. That is, until she starts spending a lot of time at Reapers Den, the new gym owned by a man who should be considered lethal just on looks alone. The chemistry was automatic and white-hot. Danny is everything that she never even knew she needed.

Fate is always fickle. One day everything is perfect, and the next you remember that if something seems too good to be true, it probably is.

Can these two who seem meant to be find a way back to each other? Or will life make one of them Tap Out?

terrible narrator

The narrator was awful. very.lonotone, and made it impossible to track which character was speaking. It completely took away from the story and I gave up trying to listing after 30 minutes.

Horrible audio

I try not to leave bad reviews… with that said however, I can’t really review the story, the narration was horrible at best. It kept fading in and out, there was static in the background, there was no differentiation between characters and I found that the narrators voice was often monotone when I could understand her. I live Nikki Mays’ books and was extremely disappointed that I will not be able to enjoy this one. I returned the book based solely on the narration. I wish I could have even focused on the story but I couldn’t, the audio was so distracting.
