I sound like a broken record - I love the book, I love the story, I love the series, I love the male narrator, but I'm not crazy about the female one.

This story is not all unicorns and rainbows. It's dirty, it's naughty, it's even sad. Both characters have some emotional issues to deal with.

The male narrator was fantastic. His voice was rough and gritty when it needed to be. The female narrator however, didn't really change between the characters she performed, unless it was a male one. When she did switch to male form it wasn't all that great either, sounded a little like a grandpa to me.

In my opinion, this series is a little rough and I feel like narrators should match that. The female one for this book was too soft, she definitely did not sound like a 23 year old woman sounds.

I don't think I've ever read a steamier sex scene then the one in the rain . . . Oh man! I'm biting by lip just remembering. This is a quick read about some filthy, sexy men you learn that not all women can be faceless fecks when you meet the right one

The male narrator was fantastic but the female narrator? Oof, she sounded way too old and it took me right out of the story. DNF'd the audio.

I really battled on whether I liked this story. Please let me explain before crucifying me over that statement. I had a love/hate relationship with this book. One I did not like the cheating in this story. No matter how you sliced it in my eyes that one character was cheating. Second I really battled with the character Slade. He had a God complex. The biggest ego you could of ever imagined. He thought women should fall at this feet and no woman should refuse him. No matter how much I battled with the character Slade I could not put the book down. See Slade also had this hurt that you could see while you were reading. A pain and hurt that went very deep. So even though I saw this huge ego I knew there had to be more to him then what I was seeing.

I actually done whispersync with this book. The narrators did a great job with this book.

Aspen had a lot to deal with. Though there are some things I did not like about her character, all in all I actually liked her. She was a character that held a lot of pain and distrust due to someone in her life. She was highly attracted to Slade though she wanted to deny it as much a she could.

I love Slade’s determination when it came to Aspen. He was determined to have her though he will find out he has bitten off more then he could chew.

There is a lot of steamy parts in this book and I found I was really like some of the other characters in the books as well. Do I have plan reading other books in this series. yip I sure do.. What can I say. I need to find out more about Hemy and Cade.

This audio is hot 🔥 🥵. Narration is great. I really enjoyed the storyline and how it played out. Now off to the next one.

Damn! Slade is hot as all hell, Aspen is shy and gorgeous, when these two meet sparks fly. They both have secrets and past hurts that need to be addressed before they can be what each other needs but given time, they'll be each other's everything.
The narrator's were perfect
