I was absolutely floored by the storyline of this book. And Sean Master and Oscar Reyes carried Roman and Lucas. The emotions and feelings got me in the heart. I cannot wait to hear the other stories.

Safe is book 2.5 in the Constantine Brothers series. It’s a dark MM romance that follows Roman and Lucas post captivity. There is trauma bonding and healing, a possessive MMC that is trying to come to terms with a new life.

The narrators - Sean and Oscar - did such a great job bringing Roman and Lucas to life. The depth of emotions and struggles the two of them went through, man did they both do an amazing job of portraying that! I was so impressed with the narration.

The story was well written and was paced well. The story definitely needs to be read in order of the other two books first or else you may not know exactly what’s going on from a backstory perspective.

All in all a job well done on this book!

I am so happy for more of these two. I think having this story pick up with some time after possession was great. It gave the space for these two to accept their new lives outside of a cage. The way Lucas can be so soft but also strong for Roman was perfect. Roman struggling so much after everything was heartbreaking. It was hard to watch him struggle entering back into a world a didn’t really like much before. He shows so much growth throughout this story. This was a sweet but very dark story and I really enjoyed coming back to this world again. It was a great way to tie up loose ends.

The audio for this was great. It was amazing to hear @seanmastersaudio and @oscar_reyes_narrator back in these roles. The way these two bring these charterers to life is perfect. Sean really gets into the role of Roman so well I cannot picture anyone else playing him and the way Oscar can be soft but also commanding in this one for Roman was perfect. I love this pairing. This audio elevates this story to a new level. I read it but when the audio was coming I knew I needed to hear these two again. Outstanding performance for this one.

When I read it It was emotional, but being able to hear it.. damn this one hurt 1000 more but in an amazing way

The PTSD and C-PTSD it’s so real and on point that you´re able to feel it deeply, is a path to a healing journey for both of them but specially for Roman and this is where the performance is fukn outstanding Sean & Oscar make you feel everything, the regret, the desperation, the need to help but not be able to, the sadness, the entire feelings, perfection these 2 together 🔥👌

This is book 2.5 in The Constantine Brothers series. I really enjoyed this novella. It was quick fast paced and it gave me more of their relationship, their feelings, their struggles, and just how much they care about each other. The sweetness and their deep connection really came through.

The narration was great. The softer tone between the characters came through really well, especially in the quieter moments, and the performances made their affection feel more natural instead of overly sentimental. That sweetness between them was probably what worked the most for me in audio.

I recommend this for readers who enjoyed Possession and want more time with these characters and their relationship.
