One cabin. One storm. One bed.

Cassie Marks was supposed to spend the weekend alone—just her, a bottle of wine, and no responsibilities. But when a snowstorm traps her in a remote mountain cabin with a broody, broad-shouldered stranger, her peaceful escape turns into a battle of wills... and chemistry.

Logan Brooks doesn’t do small talk, and he definitely doesn’t do sharing. But there’s only one bed, the power’s out, and the temperature’s dropping fast. Keeping his distance is the smart move. He’s never been smart where stubborn women are concerned.

The tension? Icy.
The fire? Cracking.
The heat between them? Unstoppable.

This steamy enemies-to-lovers romance brings forced proximity, a snowed-in storm, and a one-bed situation that will leave you breathless. If you love grumpy-sunshine banter, no-strings heat that turns emotional, and novellas that deliver both spice and heart, Rough & Reckless is for you.

Perfect for fans of short spicy romance reads, high-heat cabin love stories, and Kindle Unlimited novellas with bite.

Enjoyed listening! The feisty FMC Cassie felt very relatable (especially the “oh no.” moment in Chapter 3). The banter was bantering, I found myself giggling between the steamy bits as the characters played out the tension between each other. The narrator was nice to listen to also, kept my attention yet grounded and calming.

In this steamy novella Cassie and Logan meet after double booking a cabin. They get snowed in together. Both of them are run away from difficult circumstances in their lives. The tension in this story is off the charts and the chemistry is immediate.

I specially enjoyed the narrator performance. He added different depths to his voice to give us the different characters. He was easy to follow and kept my attention throughout the book. I just wish this one was longer.

Even though I'm entirely sick of the cold weather, this story was fun to binge on a Friday night!
The performance on this story was done so well, I give a lot of props to the narrator.

Cassie Marks rents out a cabin in the snowy mountains to get away from her relationship problems. She wanted to be alone but Logan shows up with a rental booking that overlaps hers. She's trying to convince him to get lost when the snow storm turns into a weekend long blizzard.

The chemistry was instant and the banter was fun! The heat was enjoyable without dragging on longer than I like. The grumpy to sunshine was fun and they were both pretty grumpy at the beginning, but he definitely warmed up faster than she did. It made him desirable with how he teased her in cute ways she would do things and it made her flustered. Though I get why she was guarded at first, her ex cheated so not wanting to be near a other man is understandable.
I enjoyed the whole story!

Quick. Steamy. Binge-able read!

This was just a fun, easy read. Short, a little chaotic, and exactly what you expect going into a steamy, enemy to love, cabin romance.

Cassie and Logan double book the same cabin, a storm hits, and now they’re stuck together. It starts off tense, a little hostile, but you can feel that shift coming and it works.

For a novella, it gives you a good story with a bit of heat and just enough character to keep you invested.

The narrator, Patrick Sean, did a great job too. Easy to listen to and really brought the story to life.

Quick, simple, and a good time. Perfect if you want something a little steamy you can finish in one sitting.
