Awesome piece of Literature

This was entertaining and very touching. A story of love and discovery by a group of buddies built on respect, love and camaraderie. So entertaining and so touching of how true love can grow between two individuals Whether it be human or machine, male or female. I love this book and I will relive this story many times in the future. Thank you so much for this fantastic work of art.

Good light comedy, narration grows on you

Narrator R.K. Beths’ (she/they) valiant attempt managed to just fly right underneath my irritation radar, delivering a boisterous light-hearted comedy. They were able to get comfortable and managed to settle down at 50% into the story, that is when I too, relaxed and just soaked up every sexual innuendo after innuendo. I listened to the narrator at 1.4 speed. They need a bit more practice with changing voices between the different characters. Especially between the two protagonists. I did notice a lovely deeper baritone when the General spoke and recommend working on that one and using it more. This is for selfish reasons, I am such a deep baritone slut. Their reading voice or narration was difficult to differentiate when Chase and Rob were busy in dialogue. I did like the effort with the female and twink voices. Overall, it was a good first-timer. The scope of voice potential is broad and I hear a natural talent for conveying emotions like angst or tension versus humor. A good choice to start out with comedy, listeners like myself tend to forget about the narrator if the plot distracts the mind. The cadence of the narrators’ voice, the rhythm of breathing was perfect, I heard no weird mouth sounds. The audio recording was fairly good, with one or two repeated sentences. Nothing to lose sleep over or cut your pulses. I am excited to hear how they grow.

Rob the brobot is every mans’ wet dream, I mean who doesn’t want to come home from work to the perfect lover. Rob gives a whole new meaning to motorboating, but unfortunately, his batteries are running out leaving Chase feeling empty and very confused.

The author balanced comedy and character development very well. I liked the heroes and rejoiced in conquering the villains. The ending is epic! I strangely attached to the plot, so much so, I can’t wait to listen to the Barbarians from Planet Brotron. If you watched the movie Steam Room Stories or shorts on Youtube, you may appreciate the background about the Gym and the steamers, with their silliness.

Listeners who are seeking something different than the mainstream gay romances, while lifting their spirit and enjoying gay comedy, simultaneously willing to give a new narrator a fair chance, will find a new adventure with these bros.

Happy Listening

I knew this would be a hoot, and I was really right. This book is highly hilarious and amorously amusing.

Free-wheeling Fun Frolic For Fun Fans of Frivolity

Revenge of the Brobot is a light hearted romp through a science fiction prototype sex-robot “ROB” with a human looking exterior and a government plot to convert these robots into obedient super soldiers. The unspoken goal is obviously to conquer the world. The plot is masterminded by Marine General Coldpecker (pun intended). It features a donut shop named “The Creamy Hole” (pun also intended); and a verity of alliteration (rhyming words) sprinkled throughout the text like glitter dust to add an air of lightness and frivolity to the narration. [SAMPLE …“large, curved, cuddle cumber”].

As this book is meant for laughs more than titillation of ones libido, the descriptions of the interpersonal interactions is not specific enough or detailed to get an X, double X, or triple X rating. It is, however, suggestive enough to warrant a big fat “M” for mature reader rating. It should not be left around for young children to read. I say this because the art illustration on the cover is much like a comic super hero poses in appearance. The pose is reminiscent of Superman minus the costume after he has washed the dirt of crime fighting off and wrapped himself in a towel. The figure tugging uncomfortably at his tie looks a bit like a Jimmy Olsen cub reporter figure.

Poorly performed and poorly edited childish story

A two star rating is as generous as I can be. I didn't hate it until the ridiculous conclusion: an attempted cliffhanger that simply doesn't work for me.
