Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

The book was well written but the narrator took away from the book. She wasn't awful, just not a sexy voice, and not must inflection. The story line was good. The story had a sweet ending. Only one sex scene so if you want a sex filled book this is not it. The book was a easy listen and the storyline easy to follow. The author did a good job of writing the story.

Who was your favorite character and why?

The billionaire! He was sexy, patient, rich, and easy to like.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

Changed her voice?? LOL It wasn't horrible just did not fit the book in my opinion. I did enjoy the story. I would definitely read this authors books again.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Happy ending.

This story was simple and not technically thrilling. BDSM was basically the mention of a few pieces of equipment with no substantial scenes. The one scene was basically play and not very erotic. Meh

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Well there really wasn't much BDSM in this book...so I'm not sure I would have that in the title. I wasn't really a fan of the narrator either...she tended to drag out some of her words...ones that really didn't need to be.

Would you be willing to try another book from Sky Corgan? Why or why not?

sure...I liked the story.

its hard to give 3...at times I thought she was great & then there were times that she embellished or dragged out a word that just shouldn't have been

50 Shades

First the narrator is kinda bad... So whiney... but after a while you get use to her voice then it becomes ok... but it takes about 5 chapters into the book...

Second, why is this called "A Fifty Shades..."

Anytime you use "Fifty Shades" in your title the book should mostly resemble the same reportage of information is that series... such as heavy on BDSM elements... This book... a very brief overlay... We know Jack is into BDSM but we never see it until the end... eh!

IDK... I didn't really like the story... I was bored throughout but for some reason I kept listening...

The story was ok... but the romance and other BDSM elements.... not so much.

I enjoyed the story. It's refreshing to not have the female lead go nuts over the hot billionaire from page one. The heroine's dramatics got a bit annoying at times, but honestly I think that had more to do with the narrator. I've always believed that a narrator can make or break a story and this one definitely didn't help. I found her overly dramatic delivery to be so annoying I almost stopped listening after a couple of chapters but I was enjoying the story so I stuck it out. This IS a pretty good story. If after listening to the sample narration you find the delivery annoying I would still recommend a print copy of the book.

I could get passed the narrator voice, it was kinda bad. So whiny I found my self skipping chapters. the store line was OK, maybe with a different narrator the story would have been better

I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Boom. The female character is a bit too whiny and annoying. The narrator's voice doesn't help. It's almost like nails on a chalkboard to my ears. The story wasn't very exciting or kept me engaged. The erotica isn't till close to the end of the audiobook. The premise of this book sounded interesting, and maybe it would be better with keeping my interest if performed by a different narrator. She sounds a bit too old for the character and her voice isn't pleasing to my ears.
