Loved this book! The characters were well descripted and I felt as though I was right there! The insightful and sharp attention to detail of the author combined with the experienced voice control of the narrator allowed my mind to envision exactly what was happening as if I was watching it as a movie in my mind.

I hated the cliffhanger, but I’m still giving it a five star rating because overall I loved it! I can’t wait for a sequel to come out! Fingers crossed!

Piper Green, a shy bookworm, just wants to be left alone.
Kai and his crew are her tormentors.
When Piper defended Kai’s younger sister from an attack, a silence of respect developed between them.
Piper vulnerable, quiet, grows sexually and confidently throughout the story.
The sexual tension is slowly felt throughout.
This story is well written with flawed characters, revenge, secrets, betrayal and a cliffy left me wanting for more.
Anastasia Lynne is a new narrator for me. She captured the personalities and voices of all the characters. Very well done

From the start, A.L. Adams has you captivated by the heroin Piper Green, who happens to be an academic or what some would call a bookworm at the local college. Fortunately right off the bat, she helps another young lady out of an unfortunate situation, gaining her the attention of non other than her college bully, a guy any girl would love to get with except for her.

In the beginning i wasnt sure if i would like this book to be honest, but i held on and surprisingly i really did like it. This book took some surprising twists and turns, and ends with a huge cliffhanger making me hope there will be a continuation coming out soon.

I loved this book! It is shorter than your "average " book but i enjoyed that very much as it was a nice change of pace ! Chapter after chapter I was pulled deeper into this book and just couldn't stop listing. The author left us with a HUGE cliffhanger and now I can't wait for book 2 ! The author is super nice and does engage with her audience , which i thought was totally cool.
