What was one of the most memorable moments of Pleasure?

My favorite part was the initiation in to the Black Cloud scene….it was over the top amazing.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The game between Jasmine Stallworth and Diego Gomez was intriguing.

Any additional comments?

Was not a fan of the narrator. The voice was not appealing to listen to.

I liked the story but narration of this book was terrible! She sounded like a middle aged kindergarten teacher with a head cold and her cadence and expression were way off mark. I've listened to a lot of audible books and never heard such an awful performance. Do yourself a favor and read, not listen, to this book

I couldn’t even stand to listen to this book because of the narrator. I’ll see if it’s worth a read later.

Horrible narrative

I read this book on my kindle and fell in love with this story. But listening to it on audible was the best! You really get to ride along with these three women as they struggle to find their way through life. It's a great story! The characters are easy to fall in love with.

I listened to this book on audible and I thoroughly enjoyed the story about 3 very close girl friends, who although they each struggled in their lives to find pleasure and purpose, there was always lots of pain suffered along the way.
This book is mostly about Biljana or Billie and her tragic loss of her Dom boyfriend David. She travels the world seeking comfort and belonging but not from men. She leaves her friends Jasmin and Vicky with only emails to let they know her whereabouts.
I think I enjoyed Jasmin's personality the most, as she was strong willed and an outspoken character. She is an undercover cop, and she doesn't let her career get in the way of her desires and needs as a woman.
Vicky finds out her husband Andrew is cheating on her, but she doesn't know the extent of the lies.
I usually have favourite quotes I would put in here, but as I listened to it on audible, I was not able to mark any to share.
I was disappointed with the narration, finding the narrator very nasally sounding and not as lively as I have experienced with other audible reads. Perhaps I would have enjoyed the book more reading it on my own.
The cliffhanger was quite the shocker, can't quite believe where the author left his readers.
Will definitely look for book #2, and more from this fellow Canadian and Author Al Daltrey.

Loved this book sooooo much, the characters, the author and the narrator. Just an amazing storyline and can't wait to read book 2!!
