A wonderful steamy surprise

At first I wasn’t sure slow start and different on what I am used to when it comes to female alphas. Even though very rare to find a book with one as the main lead the anatomy was more of a futa than what has been pushed forward. The first part of the book was jarring for me because of this.

Even so I am glad that I stuck around, well worth the money and time. With plenty of spice once it got going and a big bonus of HEA.

I’m sitting here, clutching my pearls, wondering if humans can go into heat because I’m pretty sure Chapter 7 drove me into heat. I should make it clear this book is not short on plot. I’m just focused on the masterful sex scenes b/c I’m a giant hormone disguised a person. But Lexa Luthor brings excitement and intrigue to all her stories and this one is no exception.
Of Iron and Gold is a standalone F/F Omegaverse story with amazing sex scenes that I enjoyed immensely (in case I hadn’t made that clear already).
Ohhhhhhhh and the narrator of the audiobook (Alexandria Wilde!!) is so beyond amazing that I wish I could think of a term that expresses how ultra-super- amazing the narration was. Perfection all around.

Easy 5 stars!

I have read this book in paperback. I really enjoyed, it reminded me of Gladiator and Lord of the rings. So hearing this story in Audible was a whole new experience and I enjoyed reliving the adventure through a different format. The narration was a very good, A great voice for the story giving each character a unique voice, and the story is one that I like to read or hear again.

A fantasy adventure unlike any other.
