Publisher's summary

Can the BDSM lifestyle and love give two men’s soul the chance to soar?

Nathan and Lenny have learnt that life can be cruel and unjust. With that, they’ve built barriers to shield and protect themselves from hurt.

That is until Nathan takes Lenny on a journey of sexual discovery.

Lenny’s ability to trust and let go finds Nathan’s own walls crumbling. Now they must trust each other to embrace what it truly means to be Mine, Body and Soul.

This is the third part of the Mine, Body and Soul trilogy in the Playroom series. It is an MM age gap gay romance with aspects of BDSM that free two men from the chains of their past, and drive them to the finally accept the one thing they both crave from each other: love without boundaries.

Warning: This audiobook contains some violence and touches briefly on past traumas and childhood issues.

Amazing series

This book was so good! It picked up right where part 2 ended and we finally get to ind out what happened to Lenny. I loved the other side characters in this book and how they interacted with Lenny it was so cute. I can’t wait to learn more about each of them and their stories. I loved getting to see Lenny and Nate’s relationship develop more and wow that last scene. I don’t want to spoil anything but wow. Also I loved the wedding so much I was so happy for all the characters. And I loved how the title came into play in this book. I’m so happy they can trust each other and push each other to be their best selves. Lenny and Nate are such an amazing couple. The narrator did such a good job with the emotions and voice skills too. It brought this book to life and the characters to life as well.

Riveted and Full of life. A must read

Finally Part 3 of The Playroom, The conclusion to Nathan and Lenny's story.
This book is a must read, very well written and fabulous narration by Matt..
Was so riveted To my seat that I had to relisten From beginning to end.
Nathan and Lenny learn how to trust and loves after going through so much trials and anguish in their life. and to a kidnapping in Nathan's club,
The scene with the ambulance made me hold my breath, the feelings in the words as Matt read... heartfelt... how else should I describe it!
Now Nathan and Lenny's Story has an HEA, what is next, Will the other characters have their own story to tell?

Moving Forward

This book picks up exactly where book two ends.
We get to see Nate so vulnerable as Lenny is in a delicate condition.
This was a book about them moving forward, facing the barriers in their relationship and accepting what can be between them.

The narration was engaging, especially the opening scenes in which you could just feel the emotions.
A wonderful conclusion to the trilogy which will leave you with a smile on your face.

great conclusion for Lenny & Nate

Would I listen to it again: yes
Did the story keep me engaged: yes
Was I invested in the characters: absolutely
What did I like about the story? good pace, well written characters and an engaging story.

I was really invested in these characters and after the cliff-hanger of book 2 was resolved, I found myself riding Lenny's emotions throughout his journey. I've enjoyed watching Lenny and Nate grow into themselves and their love strengthen into an unbreakable bond.

Narrator comment: I enjoyed Matt Haynes' performance and think he's done a great job narrating Mine, Body and Soul: Part 3. I had no problem distinguishing characters, his rhythm, intonations and cadence of voice all bring the story to life.

Realistic character growth

I had read all three parts of this story before listening to this audio version of part three and Matt Haynes' voice perfectly captured the voices I heard in my head. I loved the rough quality to his voice for Nathan especially. In terms of the story, I was surprised at how quickly the cliffhanger from the second book was wrapped up and was curious to hear what the rest of the story was about. I should have realized it would be about the journey of healing our guys have to make both as individuals and as a couple. I have always loved Lenny, but I adored him in this book as he matured and came into his own as a man, a chef, a lover and a sub. You can hear it in the voicing of Matt Haynes. My reaction to Nathan was also a bit different in this audio version. When I read the story, Nathan became rather unlikeable for me for about the middle third as he seemed unable and even unwilling to trust Lenny as Lenny was trusting him. He felt selfish, controlling and immature. In this audio version, however, his fear for Lenny was more visceral and understandable as we could hear it in his voice. I still got irritated with him at times, but understood him more and when he finally had his epiphany that he was going to lose Lenny unless he eased up and let him live a real life apart from him it was beautiful to hear. The Dom/sub scenes are explicit and hot but it is through them that we see our guys grow and change leading to an incredibly satisfying two part conclusion - one part sappily romantic and one part totally incendiary. Finally, a well earned happily ever after.
