This book wasn’t what I expected going in, but it pulled me in right away. The author lays everything out with such blunt honesty that I couldn’t help but keep reading. The dynamic between husband and wife is intense, messy, and unconventional, yet it’s written in a way that makes you think about love, desire, and control differently. At times it felt uncomfortable, but that’s exactly what made it so compelling. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but I really enjoyed it.
