Story was good but not great. I love J.T.G but, this wasn’t my favorite. I love the way she writes such witty banter for her characters but the FMC was exhausting and the story just didn’t feel like it fully developed before the conclusion.

Very witty and well written! J.T Geissinger has a unique writing voice and she truely creates a unique voice for each character… echoed by the AMAZING narration! Thank you Troy Duran for the drool worthy narration!

Loved this book! Freakin hilarious and sarcastic MFC! The narrators are all great! Love Troy Duran’s voice. Matches MMC well!! No cliffhanger & HEA.

Okay, every time I listen to a J.T. title, I think she can’t possibly do better than the last one. Newsflash—she did! LIARS LIKE US is my new fave. Man, this book is good. And the audiobook is sensational, like, YOU NEED THIS AUDIOBOOK IN YOUR LIFE good.

Not gonna spoil anything about the plot; just know that J.T. wrote interesting and complex characters but smashed it with her Sahara-Desert dry sense of humour. She called to my inner Brit and my love of super-dry comedy. There were so many times I was literally cackling—in the supermarket or while making dinner—so much so that my daughter kept telling me to “Stop laughing!” Apparently laughing while cooking is annoying.

The star of this show was by far Tara. She’s a brand new narrator to me, and when I tell you, I ran to look up other titles she’s narrated to download after finishing this one, it’s no lie. She had perfect, and I do mean perfect, comedic timing. And she laughed, squealed, gasped, screeched, moaned, and snort-laughed her way through this narration like a pro. This wasn’t just narrating this was a true embodiment of Emery. I don’t think I’ve listened to a better narration EVER. And I’ve listened to a lot of audios, so that is definitely saying something.

This was such a treat with an alpha (Callum) played by Troy who just couldn’t help himself when it came to Emery. Troy’s lines were delivered duet-style, and it was a perfect way not to bring the reader out of the story. We even get an appearance from my previous fave hero, which is always fun. The supporting cast of Brooke and Thomas does a fantastic job of rounding out this cast.

Go grab this audiobook now, you won’t be sorry you did.

didn't live the female narration. lived the male voice and character. some of the writing is a bit goofy. erotic parts were pretty descriptive. not a fave.

This series from JT Geissinger is one of my favorite series. Troy Duran is my favorite male narrators. His low sexy voice fits the characters he portrays. Tara Langella has the best laugh especially when it's sarcastic. The story is one plot I haven't heard yet, very unique. The humor JT put into the story, made it more enjoyable. Everything I enjoyed, suspense, romance and humor. Worth to credit!

This story is narrated in Multi cast / Duet - with Troy Duran, Tara Langella, Thomas Oakley and Brooke Daniels. And it’s perfect.

As soon as the FMC is a sassy strong independent character: count me in.
And Emery is particularly funny.

The story with Callum our morally grey billionaire is clearly strange since the beginning and… you have the hole book to understand what in the F is going on.
It was awesome!
