a really confusing book, but this is the first in a serie so There was the introduction to all the guys, the girl, the world building and cramped inn there was a mystery- i'm guessing it's theme for the series.
it also enden in a cliffhanger..
pr now I really don't have much of a review to write. the guys are swwet and protective, thd fmc is an 18yr old 'I dont need anyone but my mom- I really hope we wiĺl see maturing there'
the narrators did a great job.. if all the books were audio books pr now I would have binged them and perhaps not been left this confused

I have never read a zombie book before. I did not know what to expect as I started this book. But I really enjoyed it. The beginning moved very quickly, so much so there were a few time I had to go back cuz I was like “what just happened”. And then the spice, wow the spice! Although not the spiciest I’ve read, but still catch your breath worthy. I truly enjoyed this one.

I really enjoyed this story. The story is different than the usual and very intriguing. Evangeline has some big shoes to fill when her mother goes missing. She jumps right in and isn't afraid to do what needs to be done. She has just gotten her magic but isn't afraid to use it or to learn to use it. The guys are interesting and very protective of their girl. There is a lot of action and mystery to keep you intrigued. I'm excited to hear the rest of the story. This ended with a doozy of a cliff hanger.

I thought the narration was really enjoyable.
