I really enjoyed this book. First I love male narrators. Second what a story. I give James credit for telling his story about being a dominant. It was very interesting that he told us about his subs. How he found each one from his first to his last. I think it took a lot of courage to tell this story.

Such a great book. The narrator was wonderful and perfect for this book. He had the right accent and really seemed very confident as the character of James, the dominant. The story is delightful. It is the memoirs of a dominant as he first enters the lifestyle and continues with some of his different experiences. It was not chronological but it worked really well. I really liked the ending which I will not give away in this review. The author does a great job of bringing the story to life. I enjoyed this book immensely.

I really love James Collier's characteristic. He's romantic, gentle and a fantastic dominant. Can't belief there's still such gentleman out there. Mirren's story sounds like a fairytale and am really curious what happened after that weekend as it was not mentioned. Thanks for sharing this wonderful story of your life & I really enjoyed reading it. Really hope that there will be more books from James Collier and Maggie Carpenter! It's just so amazing that I can't stop thinking of how James treats his sub! Narrator Rob Groves is amazing! Loved his voice and the way he speaks! The situations sounds very real. Only if there was another lady narrator to make it feel even more real would be even greater! Loved Maggie, James & Rob!!! Waiting for book 2 & so glad that James is still willing to share! Maggie, pls help us get book 2 from James! 😊

I absolutely LOVED this audiobook! I think English accents are hella sexy anyway, but narrator Rob Groves has an incredible smooth-as-warm-pudding voice that just melts me. This is the story of James, a Dominant, and several of his submissives. Rob manages to master both James's steely determination and warm nurturing affection when dealing with his subs. Make no mistake: this book features discipline, bondage, vulgar language and hotter than hell sex. However, these individual stories are ROMANCES and the true emotional connections between James and his submissives are at the crux of each relationship. It's a wonderful ride that I strongly recommend to everyone who enjoys dominance erotica.

A true, clear and concise account of a Dominant's relationships; How he feels (yes, I said feels), what he expects and or demands, how he treats his subs, and his perspective about his life as a Dom. I found it intriguing, extremely passionate, and very well written. I fell deeper in love with James (though I didn't think that possible) due to his compassionate heart, his desire to fulfill the needs of his sub, and his devotion to her while with her. Being a submissive and giving up control takes strength of character to obtain complete freedom, but taking total control of another and exerting power and discipline over that Individual takes inordinary strength, warmth, kindness, selflessness, and compassion; all characteristics which James possesses. Did I mention that he is hot hot hot? I bought the audio book just to hear Rob Groves sexy voice tell James's story and yes, I did buy extra panties prior to making my purchase. James would call them "knickers", giggle giggle. Such a great decision on my part. Problem now is, I'm in love with Rob too! If you really want to treat yourself, and you haven't done so already, read Disciplining Destiny, and Amelia's Awakening, (Expect The Unexpected) By James Collier and Maggie Carpenter. I guarantee you'll be entertained and pleased with your purchase. I totally was and am still. I love you, James. I love you, Rob. And yes, I love you too Maggie Carpenter!!! Thank you for this audio book!!!
