Love this story!
Great story about an alpha female and her fated alpha male mate that is full of excitement, strong females and scorching hot sex. JT Farrell is superb and does a wonderful job once again (I could honestly listen to him read the back of a cereal box).

Riley will dare the devil to get her women free.
Riley is my favorite character. I love how she risks everything to save the taken women. Her cost is so high, but she’s not giving up.
Cameron expects Riley to give everything up and conform to what he considers her to be. Unfortunately for him, Riley has a brain and is very good at making her own decisions. But not at her own expense.

Narration Added to the Story

I listened to the audiobook and thought the narration was good. Although I felt the plight of the women Riley was trying to save, it seemed like it hit stronger in the audio version. Also, the intimacy between Cam and Riley seemed stronger.

So, we have a "kinda, sorta" cliffhanger. I don't know if it has been a while since I read one of the Wayward Mates books, or if it really seemed as though Riley fought longer and harder against being claimed then anyone else.
Cam and Riley have this intense chemistry. There is plenty of snark, anger, love, and humor. There is love and loyalty to the pack. There are a ton of pig headed, over protective dominant men. There are also submission, spanking, and detailed sexual scenes. If any of this offends you, pass on this book.
As much as this book was about Cam and Riley being fated mates, it had more content about saving women taken against their will, from the rogue packs. With each book, you get more information about the Coalition's fight. You also get more info regarding how the women of the Coalition are tough, strong, brave, smart, and independent. How they bring their many talents to their individual packs, and to the Coalition as a whole.
After many starts, stops, and chases, Riley and Cameron do get their HEA. The ladies of the Coalition are moving to action. We just have to wait until the next book to see how the plan and subsequent action takes place.
So, bottom line: Cam and Riley - Standalone. The Coalition's continued activity to dismantle the rogue wolves trafficking - Continuation of Cliffhanger. Your choice.

Great story
This book gives me a different perspective on wolves and shifters. The story grabbed me and I needed to finish the story. Now I cannot wait for the next book. I do not think you will be disappointed with story.

Riley and Cam
Riley was great! I love how she kept escaping from Cam, her fated mate, to rescue the women who were taken. Each time Cam caught and punished her. Riley risked everything to get these women back. I also love how the alpha's mates had their own network behind the alpha's backs. It was nice how the other alphas made appearances in this book to try save more of the women who were taken and try to catch who was behind it. The women came up with a plan for the day of Riley and Cam's party. The book has a bit of a cliffhanger and ended before they followed through to free a woman in Canada. Unfortunately, have to wait until the next book which is not on Audible yet. JT Farrell did an amazing job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Riley with the aide of a powerful network of female submissives whom I have come to love in previous books in this series, has been able to save women from breeding farms run by ruthless rogue factions. These women know that if their alphas find out they'll receive severe spankings for risking their lives. When Cam finally captures Riley, he knows that she is his true mate. Then the battle of wills really begins. Delta James has written such an exciting adventure of women who refuse to let the captive women suffer and men who want to protect their mates and also want these captive women free but just seem to move too slow. I love Cam and Riley's love story. There will never be a dull moment with these two! Once again JT Farrell does an outstanding job narrating this book. I highly recommend this Audible book

Absolutely Hated This Book! Made for a Man!
If your into woman that are “supposed” to be strong being made weak, & humbled, completely humiliated… and it’s considered so acceptable that all the men constantly laugh not only pat each other on the back for not only a job well done but laughing at what all they will & intend to do to their “mates” then you will love this book… I personally find it hard to believe that the Arthur is even female! It felt to me like this book would be better suited towards male listeners, that get off on spanking and, total subservience of woman and all sorts of humiliation… also I absolutely hate hearing women constantly “begging” for sex! Another reason I felt there is NO way a woman wrote this… because no women of any worth or w/ one ounce of pride would find this story to be sexy… I love a good spanking story… but a true submissive is the one in control not the DOM she gives him that right w/ love trust and respect… you won’t find that here… I couldn’t wait for this book to end! I was so ashamed! And I already requested a refund for another book I stupidly purchased from this author at the same time… ( it was during a sale) but no discount will encourage me to read another one of Delta James books! ( ARE you actually James Delta??? By chance!!)
