I have been a fan of this author’s series but the fact that this throuple is so toxic has got me panting for the other 2 books that are unfortunately not on this app yet😥

Books this spicy are rarely good. But in this one the characters are well developed, the plot is interesting and fast moving and the world is well thought out.
My only complaint is I wish the female protagonist had more agency, she’s always doing what all the men around her tell her to and I understand that as a starting point, but I hoped she would grow and find her voice and strength. I guess we’ll see if that happens in the next books.

Everything about it was great told my coworkers about it and they really wanted to know what happened next. This legit could be an HBO special series’s it’s so good!

I love Samantha Brentmoor as a narrator. I chose this book due to that. After scrolling through work she has done… and OMG THIS BOOK 5/5 stars! I can’t wait for the next in the series.

I love discovering new authors in that I love!
