Twisted...passionate...cruel...hot....this book had a little of all of these things. Christiana, a good Christian girl, is offered a promotion by her boss, Xander. This promotion would get her out of debt and help her with her mother's medical condition. Little did she know what she was getting herself into. There were moments in this book I really liked Xan, he appeared thoughtful and tender, only to turn his personality around almost like he was two people. It took a while to understand him and why he treated Christiana the way he did. Christiana, though appearing on the outside to be very prudish, her inner vixen definitely came out to play. This book had so much heat in it, I was blushing as I listened. While during the book I was uncertain of Xan's motives, I could understand the attraction and with the ending, it all clicked into place! The impact of Xan's story was very touching and made you feel his passion and love.

The narration of this story by Marie Smith was very good. She brings a variety of voices and you can feel the emotions in her performance. It definitely gave me the good, empty, bad and passionate feelings that both of these characters felt in their stories.

The reader needs to read this book as pure erotic fantasy and not be too concerned about how reasonable the plot seems. The plot is not very believable, but it is a short listen. The ending is very positive, but it does not really fit with with Zander’s actions throughout the book.

The narrator does not pronounce contractions correctly. “Din’t instead of didn’t, wouln’t instead of wouldn’t, etc. It is annoying.

I never knew reading a story about sexual harassment could be so hot. there are differently some good sex sconces in this book. and some great humiliation thrown in. ( in a good way)
The story was not bad or anything, but i will admit I love a few of her other books better.
I really liked the twist at the end.

Miss Smith did a good job with narration in this book, but I gave her a 4 star review because in some parts to me, she sounded kind of bored.

Wow! This was a super hot and naughty story and I thoroughly enjoyed it! great narration and sexy story - I highly recommend this audio to anyone who loves steamy romance!

🤔 Oh my, I did not like the premise of this book AT ALL. However, Skye Corgan's last book was really, really good, so I continued to listen. Unfortunately, DIRTY PROMOTION didn't get any better, in my opinion.

The "Hero" takes Christina (a woman raised in a very strict and conservative manner – which she is content and happy with) as his prisoner. He holds her job security as blackmail (she needs the income for medical bills incurred by her ailing mother) and pushes her boundaries, no holds barred.

She becomes a mindless twit whenever she catches a glimpse, a scent or a whisper from him. So mindless that she turns her sexuality over to him with barely a 2nd thought. The author does include a happily ever after within the last 5 to 10 minutes. Even that is creepy…

The writing was good but I cannot reconcile it with the content/story. So unfortunately I will meet in the middle and give it 3 stars.

Marie Smith is a great narrator. This is my 1st opportunity to hear her performance and it was very, very good. If she is the performer on a book that interest me in the future, I will not hesitate to pick it up. 4 stars

*In exchange for my review I was given a copy of this book. For me, reviews fall in one of 3 categories; good, bad and meh... I HATE having to write less than stellar reviews. This book chronicles overwhelming sexual conquest from a man who comes just shy of raping an innocent (both worldly and in intimacy.)

I really hope that this is just a one-off that Skye Corgan needed to get out of her system. I enjoyed her book TORN to the tune of 4 strong stars. I hope that the any future books reflect my feelings from TORN and not DIRTY PROMOTION.

Overall I am giving Dirty Promotion 3 stars, with the above warnings plus these: strong language, graphic descriptions of sex and BDSM themes. This is not suitable for anyone under the age of 18 and more focused on an audience who likes the content of which I described above.
