Toni is fairly innocent when it comes to sex and a relationship, as her only semi relationship of the past was while she was hiding it in the military. While it can be hard to have a same-sex relationship in the military, it's a lot harder for someone in the Navy that is on a ship. Us land lovers had it easier, as we had plenty of places we could go off base to be with one another. I personally moved off base and an hour drive away to be with my gal.

Mia may be more experienced with sex, but she is also inexperienced when it comes to relationships, as she hasn't had one.

It is a sweet story in my opinion, and though there are trigger warnings, I felt there really were no triggers as everything was gently written.

Virtual voice for this book wasn't as bad as it is on some other books. mature content really doesn't rate a chili, but I will be nice and give it one 🌶️🔥
