The two main characters first met when she was a child, he saved her and in doing so set in motion, something that could never be denied
It was years before they met again this time with Fallon intending to end his life. Fortunately, she was not successful and what follows is one of the most , exciting and interesting mafia romances I have had the pleasure of listening to. These two are perfect for each other, the chemistry they share is palpable and sizzling.
The narration is excellently performed by Victoria Launcelot and Thomas Locklear who do a wonderful job of bringing each character to life.

The narrators did a good job.
Great and interesting addition to this series. Not sure if it's considered a standalone as each book is on different characters but what's going on is linked together. In here is secrets, lies, deception, truths. Mistaken identity, hidden identity, forgotten identity. Mafia wars. Kidnapping, assassin attempts. Betrayal, greed and backstabbing. Deaths.
