Book 4

Any additional comments?

The love story of Cezar & Anna is enthralling and suspenseful. There are twists and turns, kidnapping, murder, great sex, betrayal, revenge, and most importantly a budding love. Another great book by Alexandra Ivy! The narrator did a fantastic job!

Another magical bitter-sweet paranormal romance

Anna is drawn to tall, dark, sexy and handsome Spanish Cezar and they have a night of passion where she loses her virginity and a few pints of blood (unfortunately not shared with the listener). When she wakes up he's gone and she's changed discovering she's immortal so blames him for turning her realising too late that he's not only tall, dark, sexy and handsome but he's also very dead and a vampire too.

Two centuries later she's seeking revenge (unknowing that the Oracles have punished him already by making him impotent and in service to them all that time) as she is actually 'Special' not a Vampire. However, when Anna sees him once again she forgets revenge as the sparks fly, along with a lot of sexual tension, Cezar is instantly aroused by her (yippee) and he tries to explain she's not a Vampire but can do magic. Alas, the Oracles have given him the job of keeping his hands off her and keeping her safe as her life is being threatened by a wicked Queen whose also her Aunt and Anna has an important Prophecy to fulfil.

Cezar has a battle on his hands, he lusts after her and she just can't say no (well who could) but along with their passionate, tender but doomed romance there's action, humor, magic, great dialogue, sex, mystery and suspense along with supernaturals from previous books including a funny French Gargoyle, Fae, a Goddess, a Werewolf and some sexy Vampires which sweeten this enjoyable listen and they all try to defeat the Queen.

Worth a credit? Another enjoyable entertaining paranormal romance gratefully added to my library, along with the rest in this awesome fantasy world, so YES a creditworthy listen. If you're not following this series already I humbly suggest you start at book 1 because of the histories relating to all the other characters involved.
