It was a great story. Always loved your books always. Didn’t care too much for the female talking for Phoebe. Her voice was kind of childlike and high. But I always love your books. I always enjoy the storylines and I can’t wait to start my next book for you.

Throughout the systems and genetic trades Kindred respect for females enables them to keep principled dignity a strength and a moral compass. The narration change is a good choice because it brings new perspectives and reactions to original characters.
Notice how the females are growing away from Earth stereotypical behaviors and tropes like cupcakes, chocolate and cookies.
Problem. “Girls, good girl…” That’s what we say as we pet our dogs. .Adult mated, pregnant or mothers are hardly girls any more and should surrender the term to their offspring. Try calling the ‘warriors’ boys.
That’s my two cents. Otherwise, a great series continues unfolding.

BOOK IS GOOD BUT.........This female narrator is not my favorite you know when a parent is reading their child a book and they do that big bad wolf voice......yeah that's what she sounds like and she sounds like her toung is heavy or something, sometimes she doesn't pronounce the words all the way.....major turn off no emotions just bad!! 😫
