Poor Kaden, what he went through to get here was a very sad journey. I would have liked to know what became of the ones that were responsible for putting Kaden into that chair. I also would have liked to have seen something more happen to his asshate of an ex. Deacon was perfect for Kaden and showed him how much he was loved & cherished. I loved how they discussed everything. The scene with Jake & Sam was very hot!

Would you listen to Caged Sanctuary again? Why?

Yes definitely.. Paul Morey did such a beautiful job, and Deacon made me all mushy how he was so good to Kade and made him feel good about himself again.

Who was your favorite character and why?

That's hard to choose between Kade and Deacon but I will pick Deacon. I simply adored how he did things for Kade without demeaning him. Gave him what he needed inside like the Domination but not babied him being handicapped. he was the perfect partner for Kade.

Have you listened to any of Paul Morey’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No But I have several by him in my wish list.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes and I did.

I love this cover and I am sure it lets you know this book is BDSM but I will warn you just in case. It is however mild BDSM. Mostly D's. There is some couple swapping in the play but no cheating. If you are toying with reading some BDSM or D's but not sure. This one is a good one to start with as it focuses more on the men and Kade overcoming his low self- worth than the actual BDSM acts.
Caged Sanctuary is a beautiful story of a damaged man and a man that hasn't found exactly what he wants until he meets Kade. Deacon doesn't see a wheelchair when he sees Kade he sees a man. A beautiful man that he knows wants to sub.
I am a character reader and I have to say Tempeste O'Riley has created some fantastic characters in this book. Not only is Kaden and Deacon good but also Kade's secretary and best friend plus Sam and Jason their other friends. I have to tell you that Deacon is high up on my leading man list now. I adored how he treated Kade and could read him. This may be a small spoiler but one scene is a big charity ball. Kade is sitting missing being able to dance and Deacon takes him to the side of the dance floor and dances with him wheelchair and all. Yes, I cried tears of happiness. If I hadn't already been in love with him that would've sealed the deal.
So If you like stories of overcoming disabilities, two financially secured men looking for their perfect relationship, BDSM, D's and a beautiful romance, this is a must read.

New to me author and narrator! Original storyline and being differently abled myself, I love when differently abled MCs are represented. Good character and relationship development. Perfect narration. Highly recommend!

I am new to Paul Morey, and so much impressed that Im going to add his other work to my wish list. The story was great and the BDSM scenes were fantastic. I agree with a previous review that I would have liked to hear more about the attackers, the ex and the best friend.

I've read so many BDSM romances. Some good, some not. I respect the research Tempeste must have done to be able to write believable BDSM scenes involving someone who is handicapped. I also think she is either in the kink lifestyle somehow herself or did some good research there as well.
I loved both Deacon and Kaden. They were lovable in their own ways. I was glad Deacon suggested counseling because I did feel Kaden's lack of self esteem needed to be addressed.
I would have loved to see that after Kaden built up his confidence, he could let Katie know about his life as a sub. I really think she would have been accepting and supportive.
