It was good but felt like there was too much wording on everything single thing the characters thought and felt.

Too much explanation behind every thought and action of characters.

Loved the development of the relationship at first. I appreciate when authors build a relationship without insta-love and an immediate happily ever after.
However, there was too much “checking in” on each other emotionally and mentally. And spoiler, the MFC has a miscarriage after saying she loves him but didn’t see herself as a mother for another 10yrs (she’s 30) and was going to give him the baby and leave. She moves on after the miscarriage and thinks they’re good. He’s wrecked. I couldn’t finish it. Made me hate the MFC and feel bad for the MMC.

Let down from first book.
