The Demon King finds a pet....

When I woke up on a different freaking planet, I was pretty sure my day couldn’t get any worse.

I was wrong.

The aliens who found me decided I was sent from heaven, and that I should be given to their king—who has a somewhat dubious reputation.

Turns out their king is a demon. Of course, he's wicked af. It'd be weird if he wasn't.

Before you can say hissy fit, I get tied to a tree and left to be sacrificed like some innocent young virgin. Problem is, I’m none of those things.

What if he’s disappointed? Then again, what if he isn’t?

And when Krav the Demon King comes to claim his waiting gift, I'm not sure which is worse: the way my body responds to him, or the way the feeling seems to be mutual....

Brutal Demon is a spicy, standalone sci-fi romance with dark themes. Check out series' content warnings for the Planet of King's series on Lee Savino's website.

Wow

This was a great listen. I enjoyed the characters they are smoking, the king is a interesting devil, hint hint and the way the characters interact is really smoking and smooth. This has interesting and exciting moments with great characters. The narration good. Excited for more.

Sweetly agonizing

An interesting alien almost enemies-to-lovers romance. Renee finds herself in another planet snd no memory, then is offered as a peace offer to the demon king Krav. They connect, but not in the same way. Krav will have to learn fast to deal with his feelings before he loses his mate and his kingdom. I voluntarily reviewed an ALC of this book.

Good listen

Again, Jasper did a great job. I liked how the authors wrote Krav, he was so different than the other Kings. I liked him from the beginning. Renee was awesome. She was different than the other Omegas, in how her reaction to being on another planet and to Krav was so matter of fact. I loved how their relationship grew. Can’t give much more away, but I liked how it finished.

Meh

There seemed to be so much more to the other books in this series, this one felt lacking. And the solution that hero used to "get the heroine back" was pretty ridiculous and seemed like the author just wanted to get it over with. So, meh. We've been reading this series since the first book, but we may not bother with the next one. This one seemed like a bunch of filler.

The narrator was pretty good and we recognize that they can only do so much with what they're given.

So, yeah, meh.
