Wow I have never heard an audible book before and this was just
Amazing, I have read all of Brenda Rothert's books and loved them all, and just listening to a book I have previously read was such a unique experience, so different .. and such a nice change .. I love Kate and Rykes story it's one of my favorites and all I can say is just having listened to the story made me enjoy it even more!! This was my first audible book and for sure won't be my last :) Thank you Brenda for allowing me the chance to experience this, I am truly greatful! !! I highly recommend this book to everyone!

Touchingly sweet, heartbreakingly heart wrenching, dumb grin cracking, beautiful, sexy, steamy love story.... :)

A hockey-romance that is packed with heart-ache, searching to move past the heart, discovering life, chemistry, and steam. I enjoyed the developing relationship between Ryke and Kate. The story grabs your attention from the start giving you background into the past of the couple. I really enjoyed the two as individuals and also them working in their relationship. There is no denying the attraction between the two but the story was for sure a slow burn. This a book that will keep you invest from first page until the last.

I read this book years ago and really enjoyed it so I jumped on the opportunity to listen to this in audio form. I loved the audiobook more than I did reading it. I loved how the couple met and how Ryke wanted to help Kate. Kate's issues with intimacy seemed very realistic and I love how Ryke came into her life to show her what love really is. I feel that narrators did a wonderful job with the story. Kirsten Leigh felt so perfect as Kate. She really evoked the emotion of the character in her narration. I also loved Chris as Ryke. He did a really great job. Definitely recommend this book and plan on listening to the rest of this series.
