I thought the narrator did very well. He has a wide range of voices and inflections, very enjoyable.If this book were a movie would you go see it?

The heroine is beaten (spanked) into a very submissive wife who strikes me as more of a child then a women, save the sex scenes. The Duke is a decent, loving man but uses physical discipline to keep everybody in line. Without a strong heroine, it just didn't work for me.Not erotic

NARRATOR : Very good. I heard the characters not the narrator.
HEAT FACTOR : Dirty language and spanking does not equal sexual tension or heat. Mature themes.... but not real heat.
CREDITWORTHY : I probably wouldn't bother. But if you do you should just buy it since it costs less then a credit does

Wow!! I am told that this is Ms Rose's first book. After listening to the audiobook, I appreciate the indepth characters created, plus the interesting story line, with a couple of added twists.
A young woman fled from the King, only to be rescued, after she had just killed a man that was trying to rape her.
You need to hear (or read) the rest of this medieval tale for yourself.
I am sure I would have fled, also.
