Exciting stories with no desire to fast forward.

I enjoyed each of the stories in this volume for different reasons, but all were well written considering the novela length of the stories. The instantaneous attraction between lovers would seem unrealistic in any story not designed to quickly captivate and thrill the reader, or in this case the listener.
As for the listening experience, I must admit that the reader relied more on dramatic emphasis of theater rather than the intonations of the actual character as if she would have related the story. It was distracting, but no reason to stop listening.
Since I am a driver, and listened to the entire book in one session, I couldn't stop to make any notes about individual stories. It was enjoyable, and I would recommend this book with all its stories to anyone who likes a light taste of the BDSM adventure.

The story flows from Ruby's lips

First off, props to Ruby Rivers for this awesome reading of an absolutely wonderful collection. Her intonations, inflections, and speed made it a pleasure to listen to.

As for the stories, I have to say, they were not only well written, but, unlike some other stories I will not mention here, actually took consent into account to a great degree. I would not recommend this as a primer on the community, it is fiction, after all, and power imbalances tend to be inherent in fiction, but it is something to get the juices flowing. Keep in mind, all stories reflected a bound woman, I would have enjoyed more gender variety, but hey, that's me.

This isn't bedtime reading for the kids!

Reviewing an audiobook can sometimes be a challenge in itself, you are actually writing two reviews, one on the book as written while at the same time offering an opinion on the book as read or narrated.

When the opening line of a book is "Sh**, Sh**, Sh**!" you immediately know that this isn't meant to be bedtime reading for the kids. Alexandra Noir has put together a collection of five of her well-written erotic BDSM stories that are both entertaining and exciting. They are not the most sadistic or masochistic examples of this type of literature that you will find, but they were not written to be extremely violent or extremely smutty, but rather as something that either an individual or a couple can relax with, and use as an introduction to their foreplay or an inspiration for new boundaries for their own pleasures. If you are looking for extreme pain or torture you should definitely look elsewhere however if you want some enticing insight about people who are learning about themselves, their limits, their pleasures and exploring new ways of mutual gratification while staying within respectful boundaries then you should definitely take the time to enjoy this book!

As for the audio portion of this review, the author has chosen Ruby Rivers has the narrator and while she does an adequate job, there is a lot of room for improvement. Her reading of the female voices is very good but she unfortunately doesn't seem to put the same amount of passion when she is expressing the male's commands, responses, or conversation. Overall however narration is good, accurate to the book, understandable and, I felt narrated at the proper speed.

Alexandra Noir delivers stories that give the reader/listener the respect of describing character and scene with complex language and elaborate echnique.

Erotic, pleasurable, and satisfying.....get this collection and be your best.

Fun collection of short BDSM stories

This is a collection of 6 short stories with a BDSM theme.

We get six different stories, each with different characters and situations, providing plenty of variety. They were each well written, with easy to follow yet very enjoyable plots. Each offers plenty of steam as well. I particularly enjoyed "Submission in the Kitchen," but maybe that was because it was the last one I heard. All of the stories were fun to listen to.

As for the performance, the narrator has a clean, easy to follow voice making for easy listening. My one criticism is that she doesn't do a good job of pausing between sentences (or books). As a result, the sentences tend to run together and everything seems a little rushed.

Regardless of that small flaw, I highly recommend this audio presentation.

There’s six stories in this set.
Each one is different from the other.
There’s plenty steam to them all.
Some of the plots are better than others
but they are all quite enjoyable.
I voluntarily listen and review this book.

Perfect Length for Bedtime

I really enjoyed these short stories. The stories provided well developed characters and story lines while keeping interest, providing entertainment and staying short. In fact, there are some that I wished were longer.

BDSM Bedtime Stories : vol. 3

Listening to this book is wonderful. You have six stories and six women going after the ultimate prize. I love listen to these stories and most of all there’re inspiring. Women going after the big O and not being afraid of what most women never or rarely get to experience in life. I must The is one of my favorite set of books to read.
