I feel like the book just started to get to the actual good part and then the story jumped. Then epilogue with another jump! The end! Just like the first book. I decided to not finish the series.

im trying to be patient and wait for the next book to be narrated its hard tho. I love the first two books. I hope they dont use AI for voice because I have seen so many AI narration and I wont purchase those they all sound the same such a shame

This is the second book in the series and again, I'm glad I listened to the audiobook vs reading the book. The narration is key to breathing life into the characters although I do feel the writing in this book was better than the first. The characters had a bit more dimension to them and the plot was more exciting. It was interesting seeing another side of the alpha pack since they were the bad guys in the first book. Overall, I would say these were enjoyable to listen to and I'll download more of the audiobooks in the series to listen especially when I'll be traveling and want a series that I can sink into without needing to do much thinking to enjoy as I drive.

I loved the way it was performed. The constant switch between voices took some getting used too but I did enjoy it. I especially liked how the auctioneer sounded over the speakers.

The story however wasn’t for me. It had potential but it was just a little off to me. Some of the word choices didn’t quite sound right to me.
It was also so fast moving. Don’t get me wrong. Not eveything has to be a slow burn. But this was a 10 hour book crammed into almost 5 hours. It made it feel unnatural.

Loved Keera’s story, my heart broke for what he had to go through. Loved how fate pushed Keera and her pack together and what they did to show her they cared/loved her.

If you love quick reads, that are medium/fast burns, with protective alphas, and an omega with a dark past, you need to read this!
