However, Leigh is tenacious, looking deeper than most would, finding the clues hidden in plain sight, and seeing it through to the end.
Most would not argue that there are consequences of childhood bullying. As the trauma continues, and to a more serious degree, the damage, there is virtually no way to stop the inevitable.
Atonement demonstrates a conflict of this nature, the victim taking things entirely too far. Although an extreme example, this story will both entice you with its erotic elements and challenge everything you know about a bully victim.
