A+ when it comes to the streamy scenes. Nora Ash does such a good job with her scenes. The story on this one was okay, I think Feral's Story was better but would still listen again.

If you like a dark and steamy romance with lots of mystery and danger thrown in, then this book is definitely for you. Nora Ash has written a fast paced and thrilling story set in the Omegaverse universe. It grabs you right off the bat and keeps you wondering what will happen next. It tells the tale of Peter (an alpha politician) and Leigh (a feisty journalist) and how their lives collide. Their connection is unexpected and overpowering, even if they don’t understand it at first. Their journey will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Melissa Moran is a new to me narrator. While I really liked the sound of her voice, I admit that there were times when I wished that she would have had more inflection in her tone when describing the events that were taking place. I thought she was great when it came to the dialogue between characters, though.

Dark and steamy with a bit of danger thrown in

The title kind of says it all. It’s Omegaverse, but MonogOmegaverse, and even so the MMC was practically a cardboard cutout. The MFC was criminally stupid, and at first her “career” as a journalist seemed to simply be a way to make the characters meet until there was a discussion of her continuing the profession towards the end.
You here for the smut? Fair enough, but even that was so blah that it felt like the author fell across a ‘70s porn script/film and was able to not only transcribe the stilted dialogue, but also to relay the desperation those movies have.
Don’t waste your time or audible credits.

Weak storyline, 2D characters

This isn't long but I don't think I'm going to finish it. The story is interesting enough but the narration doesn't work for me. She tends to overemphasize consonants that it's starting to get to me. That and the female vocals during the sex scenes are too much for me. There is no vocalization from the male characters. Though, I suppose that mainly has to do with the writing. But whenever the male lead talks it's fairly understated and when the female lead says anything during a sex scene, she yells like a porn star.
