Publisher's summary

This bundle includes A Pebble for Lewis and An Egg for Ansel

A Pebble for Lewis: Lewis has never been kissed.

Omega penguin shifters aren’t allowed any physical contact with an alpha until their Pebble Gifting Season, when alphas present a pebble to their desired mate. Lewis has always followed the rules.

Until he meets Todd. A polar bear shifter.

Everyone knows that polar bear shifters are unreliable players who don’t mate for life. But Todd is breathtakingly beautiful, with a body as big as a mountain and a head of thick, white hair. Lewis can’t manage to look away.

In Anchorage, Alaska, where penguin shifters and polar bear shifters have been at odds for over a century, even a friendship between Todd and Lewis is forbidden. But as Lewis’s Pebble Gifting Season draws closer, their forbidden friendship turns into a passion neither of them can ignore.

A Pebble for Lewis is a 37,000-word best-friends-to-lovers romance with a size difference, knotting, and MPreg of the penguin egg variety. It’s set in the same world as the Heron Manor series, but it stands alone.

An Egg for Ansel: Ansel has a thing for older men.

Specifically, his friend’s father Daniel, a penguin shifter who is surprisingly innocent for a 47-year-old man. Ansel probably shouldn’t flirt with Daniel. Or go on a date with him. Or send him photos that Daniel claims are “irresponsible.” But Daniel’s so cute when he blushes, and it’s just a bit of fun. Ansel’s learned that men only want one thing from him, and then they’re gone.

But Daniel doesn’t leave.

In fact, Daniel wants nothing more than to love and take care of Ansel. But Daniel is an omega, just like Ansel, and in polar bear shifter culture a “blood-bond” can only exist between two people who have a child that is genetically related to both of them. If he asks Ansel to be his mate, will he be able to make Ansel happy? Or will he be just one more guy who asks Ansel to settle for less than what he truly wants?

An Egg for Ansel is a second-chance age-gap romance with plenty of lace, cuddling, and MPreg of the penguin egg variety. It’s the second book in the Alaskan Pebble Gifters series, and will only make sense if you’ve listened to the first book.

Hilarious. Hot. Heartfelt.

Listening to this bundle was a fun , joyful and entertaining experience. I laughed , got hot and bothered , cried and everything in between.

Drew Bacca narration was outstanding. His comedic timing on point . He channeled and became the beloved characters Amy Bellows created in her must-read/must-listen Alaskan Pebble Gifters Series.

The narration production was faultless. It was a true pleasure listening to one of my top 5 , Shifter, Mpreg, MM , romance. series.

Few of the many things that makes this series special and addictive for me , it's the intricate , layered , detailed world-building and character growth. The perfect blend of mythology, legends, folklore and urban legends with likeable and relatable characters ; and romances based on friendship , hot AF steam , humor and love.

Kept me smiling

I had forgotten just how much I love Amy Bellows and especially the Alaskan Pebble Gifters Series. After reading A Pebble For Lewis, I waited for book two, but got busy reading other books. With this audio bundle I was able to reawaken all the feel good emotions from her writings. I won’t go into the plot, but will say if you love mpreg, shifters, low angst, sexy sweet times between two men… then you will love listening and reading these books and get the whole series! I’m already downloading the next two so I can listen to them while gardening! Do yourself a favor and get these! Enjoy!

I was given an ARC of this audiobook but am leaving a voluntary review.

Another Culture, New Starts

A Pebble for Lewis - Lewis and Todd - Lewis and Todd both take a risk and are willing to be patient. I love how both of them show respect for the customs of their respective families. I also love the peek at Ansel and I can't wait for his own story.

An Egg for Ansel - Ansel and Daniel - I love the way that magic and love intertwined in this story. These two just seem to be so well suited to meeting each others needs. I love what builds between them.

The audible version was well done and fun to listen too.

Love, love, love!!!

OMG! I love Lewis and Todd! They are so adorable. I really like how gentle and caring Todd is towards Lewis. I also like how they share their own traditions and cultures with each other in order to make their relationship work. In the second book of this bundle, Daniel is every bit as adorable as Lewis. I love that Daniel and Ansel have a totally different relationship from Lewis and Todd. I really like seeing how both couples adopt different parts of each of their cultures to make their relationship work. I also really like seeing the overlapping parts of both books from another perspective. These books I can definitely see listening to again in the future!

Choosing love over tradition

These books are written in an interesting world with penguin and polar bear shifters that prefer to keep to their own kind. They each have their deeply-ingrained traditions and both couples in these books break some of this traditions.

Lewis and Todd are a sweet couple of friends-turned-lovers after years of hiding their friendship from family and friends. Luckily those around them are more supportive of the men than the traditions and they now have a great circle of support as they grow their family.

Daniel and Ansel are an interesting couple with a big age gap and they are both omegas. Just as they were supportive of Lewis and Todd, that support is returned and with it, Daniel gets his second chance at love and Ansel gets the family he craves.

I haven’t read the books, only listened to them, so I didn’t have any particular expectations of what I wanted to hear in the narration. I think Drew did a great job of bringing the characters to life, especially Ansel.

Lovely

It has been awhile since I have read these books, but I was right back there listening to the audio. I love the stories here and think that Drew Bacca does a great job with the narration.

The voices are distinct for each character and the emotions are nicely expressed. I could easily listen to these books again.

New Favorite

I've never read or listened to a book by Amy Bellows before, but this bundle sounded interesting. I'm so glad I gave it a chance, as this is a new favorite series of mine. I've never heard of penguin shifters and the fact that their mates are polar bears makes it even more interesting. Drew Bacca is one of my favorite narrators, and he did an exceptional job of bringing all of the characters to life. I'm so disappointed that he is not the narrator of the next books!
