The plot
The writing was terrible but the story line was great . It didn’t translate well . There’s a good story there though

Barbie kicks ASS!
So first of all I LOVE Meg Xuemei X writing! Her imagination is through the roof! I have all of her books!
Victoria Mei is one of my top 5 narraters!

Really, really good
Book #3 in the Shades of Ruin and Magic. Meg's incredible writing combined with Victoria's awesome narration made for a wonderful story that kept my attention the entire time.

The plot thickens...
Just when I thought I couldn't love this series more... book three hits!
I love intelligent writing. Add some wit and snark to it... and I'm in love. Then, add brilliant narration. 😍🤯😍 Now I just have to find patience to wait for the next book. I can assure you I'll be re-listening to the series while I wait. So good.

This is Excellent! *chef’s kiss*
Wow!! *chef’s Kiss*. I have not listened to book 1 or 2 but that doesn’t stop me from becoming INVESTED in these characters (said in high falsetto voice)! OH MY Gosh I loved it sooo much! The story line, the world building and of course those wonderful characters. This has ALL those magical paranormal creatures that are so fun and add craziness to stories. I look forward to the next to see what can and will happen.
I listened to this on audio. Victoria Mei does an exceptional job narrating this one. There are a ton of characters in here that she voices and I am always WOWED at her talent.

The adventure continues!
Yikes there are more books to come😳
I thought incorrectly that this was a trilogy. But I’m okay with that because the adventure is still ongoing. But I want to know what happens next!
Barbie is making friends and enemies. This is getting more and more exciting by the minute. And Killian is what dreams are made of.
If you want to lose yourself in a fantasy world like no other then this series has you covered. Humour, hot sex and what the heck just happened situations through out. Meg keeps you on your toes. Victoria Mei is again absolutely fabulous with creating distinct voices and characters in anything she does. Bravo ladies. Bravo! Now just bring on the next one asap! ♥️
