I curse the day I ever met Kai DeLune. Literally. In my defense, I put a curse on the gorgeous, domineering alpha for his own protection. Because if he somehow figures out we’re fated, neither of us will live to see the end of this shifter war. It’s just my luck I’ve been assigned as his troop’s healer. Watching him from a distance is torture for me, and if he finds out the truth, he’s headstrong enough to think he can save the world, including me.

Interesting concept
This book has a great concept, and really grabs you once character development starts kicking in for the antagonist. The only 2 problems being the performance of the female reader being extremely robotic, making the dialogue sound worse than it actually is, the fact that it ended too soon! It should have been about 50% longer, it felt like it ended in the second act. I enjoyed it and am now impatient for a sequel.

Great start to a new series!
Loved the storyline, and it ended way too soon!! The female narrator was a bit stiff and could use some improvement, but not so bad I couldn't listen. Hopefully, she'll improvement in future books.
