John Enslow is very much a servant-leader with a shepherding heart. He gained this experience by spending years in the field with actual sheep and goats learning how to care for and shepherd them. His experience as a shepherd expanded his awe of God, The Great Shepherd. Not only was John a shepherd but he was shepherded by The Shepherd through his experience. Amazingly the lessons from the field transferred to life at Shulamite Ministries. John Enslow has been a part of Shulamite Ministries for over 22 years and the head of ministry operations for the last 20. His daily functioning at the ministry is very much the same—he’s a pastor and cares greatly for the flock God has given him, both near and far. Like so many disciples before him, John Enslow goes and does and says and learns and loves where the Lord Jesus Christ asks, and those of us who know him have reason to be grateful for John every day.
